I started with this template from Wix. The masthead/brand is in the left hand corner just like where I wanted my masthead to be. The bags are where I wanted my articles to be layout all across in a row of four.
This is how my header was going to be for all my pages as inspiration from the other real-life magazine websites. The red matches the colour scheme of the magazine I made to have brand identity throughout and let the audience recognise it. I used these 7 headlines as options and planned on having the 'articles' page as my click on option.
I then added some more adverts as in my statement of intent I described how I need to have a way of producing income as my selling price for the magazine is so low. So having more adverts makes up for the revenue, also a big selling point is that we pay cash for peoples stories so I made that advertisement bright and bold. I also included the two magazine covers in the front of my website to show brand identity and make it clear what the website is associated too.
I then added three adverts that I thought were necessary to the website. The first being a holiday to a popular party island, which is why I chose Magaluf I felt it was suitable to my target audience. I included a link to the magazines Facebook page as well as to join the VIP club.
I then like the first initial idea I added some articles using 4 along in a row like products that are the same as the stories on my front covers or that relate to the stories in the contents pages.
I then wanted to include a win cash prizes to make up for empty space across the website. The puzzles are also included in my contents page of my magazine to create convergence.
I then wanted to add a meet the team section at the bottom so users could feel more close with the magazine company. I initially only had two males on there but it seemed too sparse. So I added on another two girls and a paragraph from one of the 'leading' team members.
This was the final result for the meet the team page.
